Lunar Stages, Solar Flare, Geomagnetic Field Activity and Atmospheric Weather conditions seem to have a direct effect on paranormal activity. Research has revealed that periods of increased solar flare and geomagnetic field activity will have a direct bearing on increased spirit activity.

The moon and it's many stages have long been associated with Halloween, Wiccan and Celtic rituals as well as it's effects on human behavior have long been topics for debate.  But Lunar Phases such as the New Moon, Full Moon and especially the Blue Moon are believed to have a role in ghosts and haunting activity.  One legend states that 3 days prior to and following a Full or New Moon will have a marked increase in spirit activity. This Lunar activity will generally coincide with increased geomagnetic energy and during the fall, increased humidity or moisture may bring increased electromagnetic fields and other static energies.

Theories of increased haunting activity during thunderstorms are believed to be from spirits using electrical energy from the storms as a power source. The following information may be important because this activity can effect the most sensitive of electronic equipment, thus increasing the possibility of inaccurate data.

Meteorological forecasts and information is yet another tool available to investigators to ensure proper planning and prevent equipment damage or inaccurate readings.
