HAVE
YOU EXPERIENCED ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
UNEXPLAINED
NOISES -
footsteps,
knocking, banging, rapping, scratching
sounds
of things being dropped. At times, these noises can be soft or even
subtle
and
at other times extremely loud.
PHANTOM
VOICES
-
ranging
from whispers, crying or singing. People have
reported
that they have also heard their names being called and to also hearing
music
or singing.
DOORS
/ CABINETS OPENING AND CLOSING - normally
this is only
heard
but in rare cases the phenomena is also seen. In most cases the doors
will
be found either open or closed, completely opposite of the original position.
LIGHTS
OR ELECTRICAL ITEMS TURNING ON AND OFF -
phenomena
that
is rarely seen as it happens, but is often found opposite to how they were
left;
TV's,
radios and other electrical items may also be effected.
COLD
OR HOT SPOTS AND DRAFTS - while
cold spots are considered to
be
classic haunting phenomena, so too are hot spots and sudden cold drafts of
air.
Any instance of a noted shift in temperature without a obvious reason may
be
classified as haunting phenomena.
TEMS
DISAPPEARING AND REAPPEARING
- items
left in a particular location will disappear and will not be found despite an
extensive search. Then the missing item will be found
in either it's usual location or in an obvious open spot.
UNEXPLAINED
SMELLS - a
very strong and distinct odor or fragrance that is not associated with anything
found in the home. The smell may be extremely foul similar to excrement
or sweet like roses or perfume.
MOVING
OR LEVITATING OBJECTS
- dinnerware
sliding across the table,
pictures
flying off shelves or walls, furniture sliding across the floor. Or they
may
levitate
or float from their original spot. While the majority of cases involve
smaller
items,
there are documented cases of doors, refrigerators and large items moving
or
teleporting to completely different rooms.
APPARITIONS
OR UNEXPLAINED SHADOWS - apparitions
can range
from
mists in human form to unrecognizable shapes, transparent or solid and may
disappear
while being viewed. Shadows are normally seen out of the corner of
your
eye and have less defined human forms.
FEELINGS
OF BEING WATCHED -
very common feeling and is normally
associated
with the same location in a residence or building.
FEELINGS
OF BEING TOUCHED
- from
feeling something brush past you
to
"someone" stroking your hair to putting a hand on your shoulder.
The severe
cases
may include being slapped, shoved or being scratched.
STRANGE
PET BEHAVIOR
- dogs
and cats have long been recognized as
being
sensitive to spirits. From refusing to enter a familiar room to the
"watching"
of
"someone" who isn't there or cowering without any apparent or obvious
reason.
UNEXPLAINED
ARTIFACTS -
unexplained
writing on walls or paper, hand prints or foot prints.
