The Possessed - by Troy Taylor

Author Troy Taylor, one of the leading researchers into the supernatural in the country, has spent years delving into the facts behind this chilling story – searching through dusty records, wandering through old graveyards and visiting the sites associated with the case.

This book, which is the first full-length, non-fiction title to be written about the case since 1879, unveils the true facts behind what occurred in Watseka in the 1870s and allows the reader to judge for himself whether Lurancy Vennum was truly possessed by the spirit of Mary Roff. This eye-opening, and sometimes terrifying book, is a must-have title for anyone with an interest in the mysterious and a taste for the unknown!

Haunted Georgia - by Dr. Alan Brown

From Atlanta to the Coastal Plain, Georgia is rich with tales of the supernatural. This collection draws from the state s historic past with stories of phantom pirates from the coast and restless Civil War spirits from Sherman's March and Andersonville Prison.

Unusual creatures, such as the devilish Wog of Winder and the monstrous Hog-zilla of River Oak Plantation, make appearances. There's also the fatal pillar in Augusta, the haunted orphanage in Savannah, the ghost of Mary MacRae searching for her lost love on St. Simons Island, and dozens more.

Savannah Ghosts - by David H. Rousseau & Julie Collins Rousseau

Blending history with mystery, ten ghostly tales send readers on a haunted journey that began in 1734 and continues through the mid-twentieth century. They include tales of vengeance, mojo, pestilence, witchcraft, betrayal, bravery, and tragic loss, all set against the backdrop of Savannah, Georgia, one of the South's most beautiful cities. Adding to the eerie atmosphere they create are twenty darkly beautiful illustrations.

The tales represent the collective unconscious of Savannah that has been passed from family to family, one generation to the next, and from Savannah natives to inquisitive travelers. These stories that "Mama an' them" swear by are worth retelling. Anyone hungry for a good ghost story will love this book!

Ghost Hunters of the South - by Dr. Alan Brown

In Ghost Hunters of the South, Alan Brown finds that ghost lore is no longer enough for some. The forty-four ghost hunting groups he profiles in this book pack cameras, Geiger counters, thermal scanners, oscilloscopes, tape recorders, computers, and dowsing rods to find and record elusive proof of supernatural activity.  With candor, the directors and team members reveal the passions and even obsessions that lead them to this expensive, time consuming and sometimes dangerous and chilling pursuit of evidence from the spirit realm.

Brown interviews enthusiasts from 12 states - Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Ghost Hunters of the South takes the reader along on exciting and fearful investigations of places such as the Myrtles, the St. Francis Inn, the Chickamauga Battlefield, Bob Mackey’s Music World, the Old Talbott Tavern, the North Carolina State Capitol, the Granberry Opera House, and the 17Hundred90 Inn and Restaurant

The Demonologist - by Gerald Daniel Brittle

Fear not. The Demonologist is not a negative book. It’s a positive one. However you’ll find it to be unlike any book you have ever read. Because this is not just another aimless collection of ghost stories. It is in fact a religious book. Specifically, it is a book about mystical theology. It contains material once known only to saints and scholars. In it you will learn not just how, but why mystical phenomena occur, and exactly what’s behind it.

Ultimately, this book will scare you. It may even scare you profoundly. But it is to be scared in a worthwhile way. Because you will come to see, like others before you, that there is more to life than you have ever been taught to believe. It is serious stuff, granted, but it is also important stuff, especially in this day and age when true evil has emerged again. In the end, reading The Demonologist may potentially send you back to church. But that, dear reader, is the worst that can happen to you.

Quija, The Most Dangerous Game - by Stoker Hunt

The first book to take a hard look at the phenomenon called "The Ouija Board".  Is it just a game?  When you ask the Ouija board a question, who is it that answers?  What about those stories of Ouija-inspired prophecy and clairvoyance.

What are the dangers of the Ouija board?  Do you know the stories of  Ouija-inspired murders, madness, obsession and possession?  Exalted by some, condemned by others, there's no doubt the Ouija is controversial.

In this fascinating book Stoker Hunt investigates the history and legacy of the "Mystic Talking Oracle."

Ghost Science - by Vince Wilson

In this compelling book, the author goes beyond the mere “nuts and bolts” of ghost research and explores the technology and the theories behind paranormal research.

The intense, but highly readable and entertaining chapters include information that every ghost hunter must have like the theories of paranormal energy and “memory possession”, a controversial speculation that might just explain eyewitness accounts of historical hauntings. Wilson also delves into EMF meters, methods of recording the voices of the dead, cold spots and thermodynamics, dimensional hauntings, psychic testing and research, future methods of ghost research, theories on ghosts from some of the foremost authorities in the field and much more!

Ghost Tech - by Vince Wilson

For the first time, the scientific equipment and methods that are used to search for ghosts and hauntings are outlined in detail in a single volume, providing ghost researchers with all of the information they need to legitimately search for evidence of the paranormal. This entertaining and informative book offers a wealth of practical information on basic equipment operations, the ins and outs of using the equipment during investigations and much more. The book explores the nature of ghosts, temperature detection devices and how to use them, the uses and misuses of EMF meters, recording the voices of the dead, using cameras for investigations, recording the paranormal on video, various types of equipment and how to use it and much more! This is a must-have book for anyone with an interest in ghost research and the proper use of the scientific equipment that has become so prevalent in the supernatural field.
