A ghostly encounter 33 years ago in an Arizona theater was the start of Bob Hunnicutt’s journey into the world of ghosts and hauntings. A theater ghost challenged his notions on the existence of life after death and helped him realize science could not easily explain everything. Since then, Bob has investigated cases of phenomena associated with a variety of hauntings of paranormal, supernatural and preternatural origins at private residences, businesses and historical landmarks throughout the state of Georgia, the Southeast and portions of the Mid-west. He has worked with renowned members of the paranormal community that include demonologist John Zaffis, paranormal investigator Patrick Burns and psychics Reese Christian and Sharon Johns. The founder and director of the Georgia Ghost Society and the Central Georgia Representative for the American Ghost Society, Bob has investigated some of the South’s most haunted and historic locations that include The Read House Hotel in Chattanooga Tennessee, Waverly Hills Sanitarium in Louisville Kentucky, Brenau University’s Pearce Auditorium in Gainesville and the Pirate’s House Restaurant and Moon River Brewery in Savannah Georgia to name just a few. Bob has been the featured guest on prominent radio programs that include Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, The “X” Zone Radio Show with Rob McConnell, Paranormal Radio with Captain Jack, Ghostly Talk Radio, Georgia Public Radio, Pulse Paranormal Radio in England and the nationally syndicated Lisa Birnbach Show. In the Spring of 2008, Bob was honored to be named one of the Top Ten Paranormal Ghost Investigators In America by Haunted Tours of America. He regularly speaks at local colleges, historical societies and paranormal conferences around the country.
